摘要:AbstractThe theme of this paper is the management of professional and technological education. The purpose is to demonstrate trends in Federal Network of Education in Brazil and specifically discuss issues of management of Federal Institutes, in particular the Federal Institute of Rondônia. The research is documentary. National indicators of dropout and retention reveal that less than half of the students of the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology can complete courses of middle and higher levels. The academic indexes of the Federal Institute of Rondônia are similar to the national indexes and require management strategies beyond common procedures for positive intervention in the processes of formation.
