摘要:AbstractThe paper analyses impacts of the system of progress testing of students in mid-term and at the end of semester on their knowledge of lectured topics presented at oral exams. The data was collected from progress computerized tests of all students of obligatory course Law basics at the University of Economics, Prague in the period of 2008-2014. The research confirmed the positive influence of progress testing of students on their final results. The analysis also proved that it is necessary to continuously modify certain number of questions in the entire set to keep the pressure on students to study and not to rely on the historical information from their predecessors. The paper examines what share of questions it is necessary to modify to keep the certain level of knowledge of students.
