  • 摘要:AbstractThis paper discusses how markedness issues have affected syllabus design in a second language acquisition context. To do this, first definitions of the term markedness are presented and different criteria for distinguishing marked from unmarked are reviewed. Then markedness issues in syllabus design are discussed.
