摘要:AbstractStudent-teachers differ in their feelings about their ability to cope with complex teaching situations.The concept SOCITS - Sense of Coherence in Teaching Situations, can offer an explanation for these differences.SOCITS describes a coping resource that reflects the student-teachers’ feelings and has three components: Comprehensibility, Manageability and Meaningfulness in teaching situations.The researchers examined the existence of SOCITS among 47 student-teachers from a college in Israel, using a qualitative research approach and tools. The results yielded evidence for the existence of SOCITS and its components among student-teachers. Further research will help anchor the research findings and constitute the concept.
