摘要:AbstractIt is well-known that Romanian students suffer a lack of learning motivation and this is emphasized regarding learning mathematics. For initial training of primary and preschool teachers it is important to pursue the mathematics courses so, the students need to be enough motivated in order to succeed. The success of learning depends on both internal and external factors. The study intend to figure out the relation between internal factors such as emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, positive and negative emotions and the attitude towards learning mathematics in students who are involved in initial training for primary teaching.The study was done on a sample of 160 students. The instruments used were scales and questionnaires for measuring the emotional intelligence (Schutte), self-efficacy, emotional life - PANAS (Positive Affectivity and Negative Affectivity Scale) and also a questionnaire to figure out the general attitude toward learning mathematics.The results bring out a picture of the attitude towards learning mathematics and also the way some internal factors describing the emotional life influence this attitude.The results could indicate some predictors for attitude towards learning mathematics and also could be useful to find out new way motivating students in their learning process.
