摘要:I am honoured to be given the opportunity to edit this issue of the Procedia Social and BehaviouralSciences Journal for the selected and revised papers presented at the 4th World Congress on TechnicalVocational Education and Training (WoCTVET), which was held on the 5th and 6th of December 2014 inthe historic city of Malacca. WoCTVET is a yearly event that provides great opportunity for researchersfrom around the world to share their knowledge, expertise and research work in TVET. This yearlyconference was organized by the Advanced Centre for Technical and Vocational Education (ACTiVE) ofthe Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia following success of the three prior conferences; with the aimsof bringing together international expertise and researchers to advance scientific knowledge and practiceon TVET in general and on TVET teacher preparedness in particular through enhanced collaborations thatwould lead to creative solutions for unresolved challenges in the implementation of TVET policies andprograms around the world.
