摘要：We have the pleasure and honor to edit this special issue of Procedia Social and BehavioralSciences, containing the selected papers presented to PSIWORLD 2014 InternationalConference, held on October 24 – 26 2014, at the Bucharest University, Faculty of Psychologyand Education Sciences, Bucharest, Romania. The 5th edition of the International ConferencePsychology and the realities of the contemporary world – PSIWORLD 2014 added more value inthe scientific world of psychology and tried to make more powerful the relation between theoryand practice. The event was organized by the Romanian Society of Applied ExperimentalPsychology together with the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Psychology and EducationSciences. This edition was an anniversary one: the Bucharest University celebrated 150 yearsfrom its funding and the PSIWORLD event reached its 5th edition.
