摘要:AbstractThe concept of burn-out, one of the biggest problems of the modern people, can almost be seen in any profession including “Teaching”. It is also a state which appears as a result of not being able to overcome the distress of the nature of the profession itself. This study was conducted to analyze the burn-out levels of preschool teachers working in private and state preschool institutions in Turkey. Maslach Burn-out Scale (MBS) was used to collect the study data. It was conducted in 29 state and 16 private preschool institutions, which were randomly chosen in Turkey. 103 preschool teachers currently working in Konya province participated in the study. 63 percent of them were working in state while 41 percent of them were working in private preschool institutions. The raw data handled was processed by SPSS for windows 15 to reveal the differences between the burn-out levels of preschool teachers working in the state and the private sectors. The result showed that there is a significant difference between Turkish preschool teachers working in the private and the state preschool institutions in Turkey regarding Emotional Exhaustion dimension of MBI.
