摘要:AbstractOrganizations are becoming increasingly diverse in terms of gender, race, ethnicity and nationality. Management of such multicultural company can become challenging for each leader: different work and cultural norms, language barriers, required time for accomplishing tasks enforces to apply new decisions and management methods. Female leaders distinguish for empathy, flexibility and their role is growing constantly in business processes in different organizational levels. Thus, the goal of the research is to identify how should a female leader act in multicultural context in order to be effective? The qualitative survey of this study was conducted on 6 managers with experience in the range between 10-20 years in Lithuania, in 2014. The research results have revealed the main characteristics and let to construct the profile of an effective female leadership in a multicultural context.
