标题：The Cadre of Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu) as an Agent in the Socialization of Cervical Cancer Prevention in Malang Regency, Indonesia: A Cultural Approach
摘要：AbstractThis study focuses on cadres empowerment in cervical cancer prevention socialization. The data is collected from pre/post test, FGDs and interviews with twenty cadres, midwife, and resource person. The findings reveal that most cadres have good basic knowledge in cervical cancer but the skill to socialize it. Therefore, a training on public speaking and knowledge upgrading is conducted. The communication media is developed based on audiences’cultural background where people prefer oral, audio, and visual rather than written media. The socialization messages are designed based on Berlo's SMCR communication model. The effect is caders’ awareness in socializing and maintaining the program.
