摘要:AbstractThe article provides a general overview of globalisation and internationalisation agenda and its influence on the development trends of academic research in pedagogy and education in the global context. The role of different stakeholders in research funding is discussed, special attention is given to the analysis of the role of governmental bodies in this process. Russia is taken as an example for further analysis of academic pedagogical and educational research internationalisation within the work of the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation. A particular accent is made on the description of the Foundation activities, its aims, projects’ classification and the process of expert evaluation of the materials. Within undertaken quantitative documentary research of the analytical information given in the Foundation Activity Surveys (2011-2014) and represented at the official website the author shows concrete steps being undertaken by the organisation to internationalise its academic research; concluding remarks are offered concerning concrete measures possible to contribute to the improvement of Foundation work in the sphere of internationalisation of its research activities.
