  • 摘要:The impact of social networks on people's daily lives isalarming, especially among adolescents and youngpeople, which seems to exceed the limits of normal useand to be oriented towards pathological patterns thatcould lead to an addictive disorder. The objective of thisstudy was to provide evidence of validity and reliability ofBFAS scores. A sample of 510 university students wasused and the average age of the participants was 20.74years (SDage = 2.57) and 54.1% were women. For theBergen Facebook Addiction Scale (BFAS) thequestionnaire Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) was applied asa measure of contrast (r = .60). The internal structure wasdetermined under the confirmatory factorial analysis(CFA), the equivalence of measurement was alsoevaluated by multigroup factor analysis models (CFA-MG)where levels of invariance were verified by sex, age andacademic involvement. The relevant use of the alphacoefficient was corroborated by the implementation ofrestrictions in confirmatory models to evaluate tauequivalence and parallel measures, where adequateresults were obtained (α = .84). This version of the BFASreports useful evidence for research into behavioraladdictions due to its need to be included in batteries thatassess addictions to social networks.
