  • 摘要:In the present work, an attempt has been made to model the machinability evaluation through theresponse surface methodology in machining LM25 Al/SiCp MMC manufactured through stir castroute. The influence of four machining parameters including spindle speed (N), feed rate (f),depth of cut (d), and various percentage weight of silicon carbide (S) on surface roughness (Ra)was studied. The concept of Design of Experiments (DOE) was used for necessaryexperimentation. The experimental results were analyzed statistically to study the influence ofprocess parameters on surface roughness.
