摘要：The discovery over the last decade of highly variable immune-response molecules even in invertebrates reveals a new scenario on the modalities of non-self discrimination in these animals and a closer correlation between specificity and immunological memory. The difference between invertebrates and vertebrates in terms of innate and adaptive immunity seems less evident than was previously thought.
