摘要：We describe and illustrate a new species of Armadillidium from Sicily, A. virgo n. sp., collected in two small caves in the Climiti Mountains on the Iblean Plateau (southeastern Sicily, Italy). Of the ∼200 specimens collected thus far, all are females. We compared this putative new species to A. aelleni Caruso & Ferrara found in some Maltese caves, and they seem to be closely related.
