This course is team taught. The successful applicant will beresponsible for six lectures on the art history and archaeology of ancient Greece, particularly fifthcentury Athens. In preparing these lectures the applicant will be expected to take into accountthe content of the other portions of the course (literature, philosophy, social and political history), by working closely with the coordinator. The successful applicant will have expertise in Classicalart history; some experience in relevant archaeology would be desirable.
