摘要：A survey was conducted to get an in depth overview of the current condition of UMP in relation to her partnership with an automotive and manufacturing industry. The dean and the ex-dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UMP were interviewed and the results show that both of them were not happy with the current collaboration situation with the automotive industry. This paper discusses their opinions about the current situation and their suggestions for the improvement of their university’s partnership with the automotive industry so that both parties get equal gain and benefits.
