摘要：اطلاع‌رسانی پزشکی، حيطه‌ای از علوم است که در آن از فناوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات برای پيشبرد پژوهش‌های پزشکی، آموزش پزشکی و همچنين بهينه‌سازی خدمات بهداشتی و درمانی استفاده می‌شود. اين شاخه به مطالعه اطلاعات پزشکی و داده‌های موجود، و همچنين ذخيره، بازيابی و استفاده از اين اطلاعات برای حل مسائل و تصميم‌گيری مناسب می‌پردازد و هدف اصلی آن، کمک به تيم بهداشتی و درمانی در جهت ارتقای شيوه و بهبود نتايج عملکرد آنان است. اطلاع‌رسانی پزشکی دارای رويکردها و کاربردهای مختلفی است که مهمترين آنها، پزشکی از راه دور (Telemedicine)، پرونده‌های پزشکی الکترونيکی، بازيابی اطلاعات و سيستمهای پشتيبان تصميم‌گيری است. کاربردهای مختلف اطلاع‌رسانی پزشکی از طريق کاهش در اشتباهات پزشکی، ارائه اطلاعات پزشکی مورد نياز به بيماران، فراهم‌ساختن امکان دسترسی پزشکان به دانش و اطلاعات روزآمد است که به حصول نتايج بهتر در درمان بيماران و کاهش هزينه‌های مربوط به خدمات بهداشتی و درمانی کمک می‌کند.
其他摘要：Medical Informatics is a developing body of knowledge concerned with the use of information and communication technology in support of medical research, education and also for promoting health care delivery. The field focuses on the biomedical information, patient data, and also acquisition, storage, retrieval and optimal use of information for problem solving and decision making. The goal of medical informatics is to help health care workers improve their way of working and the outcome of their performances. There is a variety of classification types for the different applications of medical informatics among which Telemedicine, Electronic Medical Records, Information Retrieval and Decision Support Systems are the most important. Different applications of medical informatics can contribute to better outcomes in patient care and decrease the costs of health care services through error reduction, providing patients with their needed information and supporting physicians with updated information and related knowledge.
