摘要：در اين نوشتار نقش حمايت اجتماعی در بهداشت روانی بيماران مزمن روانی و خانواده‌های آنان بررسی شده و ويژگی‌های ساختاری وکارکردی شبکه اجتماعی آنان برشمرده شده است. همچنين، اثر هريک از ويژگی‌های ياد شده بر سازگاری بيماران مزمن روانی بررسی گرديده و در پايان ضرورت مداخله در شبکه اجتماعی بيماران با هدف افزايش حمايت اجتماعی و تقويت شبکه اجتماعی آنان مورد تأکيد قرار گرفته است.
其他摘要：This article deals with social support and its importance in the well being of chronic mental patients and their families. Stuctural and functional characteristics of scial network, and their effects on adjustment of chronic mental patients are reviewed. It emphasizes, interventions in social network of chronic mental patients to increase social support and strengthen social networks.
