摘要:AbstractIn this extended abstract, we discuss results regarding the experimental validation of connected automated vehicle design. We demonstrate experimentally that a connected automated vehicle can improve human-dominated traffic flow while being integral part of the flow. Our experiments emphasize the benefits of V2V-based control for driving automation without the support of an automated platoon. In fact, we show that benefits can also be gained even in scenarios where not all neighboring human-driven vehicles are equipped with V2V devices.
