摘要:Apple leaves from central Greece, were investigated for their content in 25 elements. Comparison with literature data has shown that Fe, Co, Sb, Na, Sc, Ni, Cr, and Cd have larger values from 3 up to 28 times. Additionally, when the obtained results are compared to analyses regarding soils and apples from the same study area, indicate that, for almost all of the determined elements, their average concentrations follow the order: concentration in soils > concentration in leaves > concentration in apples. Correlation analysis has indicated that the application of agrochemical products is influencing the concentrations of the majority of the determined elements regarding apple leaves, but of soils and apples, as well. However, there might be a small contribution from the local geology in the concentrations that some elements have in soils as they are typically found with elevated values in certain rock types present in the area.
