摘要：This study examines the relationship between personality traits towards the incidence of improvisation. The independent variable is represented by personality traits taken from the Big Five Personality Traits Theory, which are Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Neuroticism and Openness. The sample of the study was a government officers from various ministries in and around Putrajaya, Malaysia. Results from the analyses conducted reveal that the traits Extraversion and Openness have significant contribution towards the incidence of improvisation. The findings of this study could contribute to both theorists and managerial practitioners.
