摘要：When I was a graduate student at the University of Tokyo (around 1967), I remember the late Professor Ikai Michio of the Faculty of Education, Laboratory of Physical Education, stating “It will be necessary for Japan, also, to have an International Journal of Physical Education.” I am sure that Professor Ikai would be happy to know that 10 years have now passed since the IJSHS, the Journal of the Japan Society of Physical Education, Health and Sport Sciences, was first published, during which time 337 papers have been published in the journal.
