摘要:The present communication reveals the impact of Cladocera on water quality in Wularlake. The water is eutrophic as indicated by high nutrient levels. The Cladocera wasdominated by Chydoridae with the main contribution of Alona sp., Alonella sp. andChydorus sp. Shallow sites support more Cladoceran members in comparison to othersites, and all the sites contain almost same species. Population density seems to begoverned by the influx of human interference and related to the nutrient enrichmentand other abiotic factors including decaying organic matter, which provides food forCladocera.
