摘要：One of the most important mechanical character-istics of packaging is its resistance to vertical compressionload. This load increases significantly when the packedgoods are loaded on pallets which, in their turn, are stackedone upon another. In such cases the greatest loads are af-fecting the packages at the bottom and the forces are di-rected vertically downwards. The packed product cansometimes overtake part of the loads and thus diminish thedanger of damage.
