  • 摘要:Gravitational liquid films play an important rolein many industrial applications and mathematical model-ling thus receives increasing attention. The thickness andvelocity of thin liquid films flowing down on vertical sur-faces are among the key parameters determining overallperformance of gas-liquid contacting apparatuses such asfilm evaporators, distillation columns, nuclear reactors,boilers, condensers. A significant amount of research work[1-5] carried out over the last few years suggest that ratesof momentum and heat transfer are strongly influenced bythe liquid film characteristics, fluid physical properties,presence of surfactants. Study [6] analyzed the behaviourof squeeze film between two curved rough circular plates.The results suggested that the use of a film considerablyimproved the lubrication of bearing system.
