摘要：URSZULA RADWAŃSKA (2017) presents theUpper Jurassic craniid and thecidellinide brachiopods from the Zalas Quarry (Kraków Upland,Poland) and discusses the ecological conditions oftheir growth, including substrate, bathymetry, andeven Late Jurassic seawater temperature. Althoughthe main subject of the paper is brachiopod fauna –their description and systematics – it also includespalaeoecological considerations based upon the development of Upper Jurassic sediments observed atthe Zalas Quarry. It is obvious that the recognitionof relationships between the composition of craniidand thecidellinide brachiopod assemblages and thehost rocks must be based upon a credible descriptionof Upper Jurassic sediments, and therefore must refer to the current state of knowledge. Unfortunately,Radwańska (2017) does not meet this standard.
