摘要：As shown in Fig. |, the new design of measuring marine primary productivity was composed of three major modular units: the incubation unit, temperature and water current controlling unit, and light simulation unit. The incubation unit was formed by a vertical inter mediate shaft with a series of circular panel on which light and dark incubation bottles were installed surrounding the intermediate shaft with inclined neck and sealed cap where cables of oxygen sensor passed through. Both light and dark bottles on each panel were filled in water samples from a target layer of water column, so that the number of panels depends on the target layers for measurement.
