摘要：Purpose of Component-based software development (CBSD) focuses on building large software systems by integrating previouslyexisting software components and with help of enhancing the flexibility and maintainability of systems, this technique can potentially be referred to reduce software development costs, assemble systems rapidly, and reduce the spiraling maintenance burden associated with the support and upgrade of large systems. The main advantages of CBS are reduced development time, cost and efforts along with several others. CBSE approach is actually based on the principle of ‘Select and Use’ rather than ‘Design and Test’ as in traditional software development methods.
