摘要：Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is an emerging technology and have great potential to be employed in critical situations like battlefields and commercial applications such as building, traffic surveillance, habitat monitoring and smart homes and many more scenarios. One of the major challenges wireless sensor networks face today is security. In this paper, we propose a trust and energyaware, location-based routing protocol called Trust and Energy aware Routing (TER) protocol. TER uses trust values, energy levels and location information in order to determine the best paths towards a destination. The protocol achieves balancing of traffic load and energy, and generates trustworthy paths when taking into consideration all proposed metrics. Other metrics can be easily integrated in the protocol.
