摘要:A Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is a self-confguringinfrastructure less network of mobile devices connected by wirelesslinks. Each device in a MANET is free to move independentlyin any direction, and change its links to other devices frequently.Mobile means moving and Ad Hoc means temporary withoutany fxed infrastructure, so mobile ad hoc networks are a kindof temporary networks in which nodes are moving without anyfxed infrastructure or centralized administration. This paperinvestigates the impact of MAC protocols 802.11 and CSMAon two reactive routing protocols AODV and DSR in MANETswith varying network size. Number of simulation scenarios wascarried out by using Glomosim-2.03 with the simulation metricslike Throughput, End-to-End Delay and Packer Delivery Ratio.From simulation results we found that both 802.11 and CSMA issuitable for AODV where as only 802.11 is suitable for DSR.
