摘要：The wireless networks, including IEEE 802.11/15/16, are not designed for real-time applications. Therefore supporting real-time quality of service in wireless real-time control is quite difficult. This paper surveys some of IEEE 802.11 standards. Performance indices such as throughput and packet delay of previous papers with evaluation studies are also taken into consideration, particularly under the critical real-time traffic condition.
