摘要:Identification of interesting and unexpected climate change patterns from vast spatial and temporal datasets is an intricate task.The spatial and temporal variations in the surface air temperature of Indian Punjab State was studied using the data of 101 years (1901- 2002). Spatial data mining was used for multivariate spatial clustering and geovisualization of the data for identifying clusters with similar trends of temperature change. We used this approach, for the first time, to predict the changes in temperature over the years in Indian Punjab. The least change in surface temperature is in central Punjab, but maximum change is in north and north eastern regions of Punjab.
