摘要：Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has become an emerging technique providing solution in scenarios such as seismic monitoring, industrial process monitoring, perimeter security, surveillance etc. It consists of large number of inexpensive miniature nodes capable of sensing, computation and communication. WSN MAC protocols are required for energy efficient working of the network. In this paper we discuss and compare various Asynchronous MAC protocols for WSN.
