摘要：The developments in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have helped a lot to the governments and the people. The people have been able to use the services provided by the governments with ease. The government has been able to administer the services meant for the people efficiently after implementing ICT. The very first application using IT tools helped in managing information for planning and monitoring. With the introduction of internet/intranet the efficiency and effectiveness of government services improved.
