摘要：Effective network management is becoming crucial to manage large amount of network data traffic with less resources. Network management is fulfilled by network monitoring which includes traffic monitoring which depends on throughput, utilization, error rate and many other performance metrics. There are several ways to calculate these metrics but we have used passive approach to calculate these performance metrics. We have developed a network monitoring tool by which network manager can visualize these metrics easily to take necessary decisions.
