摘要：There are various communication barriers for people who areblind , and they have to face various challenges. In this paper, wehave discussed the implementation of a personal virtual assistantwhich can take the human voice commands to perform tasks whichotherwise would need the dependence on others. It enables userto receive and send emails, know the weather forecast report,maintain a personal diary/Online Blog, recognize image etc, usingSpeech to Text Engine, Text to speech Engine, OCR (Opticalcharacter recognition) using microphone for the input and speakersfor the output.
