摘要：Machine Translation (MT) is a sub-feld of Artifcial Intelligence(AI), which translates the text from one language known assource language into the text of another language known as targetlanguage. This paper gives a survey of the work done on variousIndian machine translation systems either developed or under thedevelopment. Some systems are of general domain, but most ofthe systems have their own particular domains like parliamentarydocuments translation, news readings, children stories, web basedinformation retrieval etc.
