摘要：Firewall plays a vital role in today’s security infrastructure overa network. In real world unrestricted access to the internet is arisk. Number of vulnerabilities is rising day by day. Computersystems are more powerful now days for a business and it is verydiffcult to manage. Firewalls are most powerful now a day andit is deployed in most of the businesses and personal computer tomaintain security of the organisations data to install a frewall isnot enough for an organisation to maintain security. Organisationsmust conduct security testing or frewall testing regularly to protectfrom the vulnerabilities. There are various types of testing toolsavailable in the market to conduct testing. Many organisationsnow a day rely on third party testing organisations to maintainmore security.The main aim of the research work is to test theFirewall, understand the various frewalls testing conducted bythe organisation and what are precautionary measures to be takenbefore conducting the frewall testing. In my Practical implementedPing of Death, (Denial of Service Attack). First step have checkedthe Victim personal computer’s operating system and it is widows7 have set the default frewall in off mode.
