摘要：Electrocardiogram (ECG) is one of the most widely used diagnostictools for heart diseases nowadays. Nevertheless, the accurate ECGinterpretation is essentially required in order to evaluate the valuableinformation inside the ECG signal. Theconventional technique ofvisual analysis to inspect the ECG signals by doctors or physiciansare not effective and time consuming. Therefore, an automaticsystem which involves digital signal integration and analysis isrequired. This paper presents the developed software for imagecapturing from ECG machine by using MATLAB mathematicalsoftware as well as the signal and image processing toolbox. Testresults show that this software able to extract information fromECG image or video based fle and the system manage to determineheart rate of captured ECG accurately.
