摘要：Now days Information Security is the prime concern of technocrats.The rapid growth and widespread use of electronic data processingand electronic business conducted through the Internet, along withnumerous occurrences of international terrorism, fueled the needfor better methods of protecting the computers and the informationthey store, process and transmit. The academic disciplines ofcomputer security, information security and information assuranceemerged along with numerous professional organizations – allsharing the common goals of ensuring the security and reliabilityof information systems. In this paper we are carrying out thecomparative study of different digital signature based securitymechanism proposed earlier and come up with the conclusionthat the latest digital signature scheme based on Iterated FunctionSystem (IFS) is better in security and other aspects.
