摘要：The current state of the art in Content-Based Image Retrieval(CBIR), a technique for retrieving images on the basis ofautomatically-derived features such as color, texture and shape.Our fndings are based both on a review of the relevant literatureand on discussions with researchers in the feld. The need to fnda desired image from a collection is shared by many professionalgroups, including journalists, design engineers and art historians.The image properties are analyzed in this work by using imageprocessing algorithms. For color the histogram of images iscomputed, for texture histograms of image are computed andentropy, smoothness and uniformity are calculated. For retrievalof images Euclidean distance measure is used.
