摘要：Cyber attacks from various sources are demanding its preventionin the new era of information security. Cyber forensic is a relativelynew felds that is the collection, analysis and documentation of aCyber attacks. It is becoming increasingly important as criminalsaggressively expand the use of technology in their enterprise ofillegal activities. An established forensic analyst mines the crucialevidence from susceptible locations to comprehend attacker’sintension. Digital evidences are collected from storage mediaand preserve it for further processing. The typical goal of aninvestigation is to collect evidence using generally acceptablemethods in order to make the evidence is accepted and admittedon the court. Main focus of this paper is the complete investigationprocedure of storage media. Our paper also explains emergingcyber crimes and its digital forensic investigation procedures usingdigital forensic tools and techniques.
