  • 摘要:Texture is one of the basic image properties, which is usefulin many computer vision applications. Though there are manyapproaches to describe textures, no particular representation hasbeen shown to give great results on a wide range of textures dueto the variations in texture properties and vagueness in describingthem. Fuzzy logic is an excellent tool to handle uncertainties whicharise due to ambiguous or incomplete information. A fuzzy logicbased texture descriptor Fuzzy Local Texture Patterns (FLTP)has been proposed in our earlier work and in this paper, rotationinvariant property of the FLTP descriptor is demonstrated withtexture classifcation experiments. The results show that the FLTPmethod is robust against rotational variations.
