摘要：Removing noise from the original image is still a challenging research in image processing. This paper proposes five types of filters as Standard Median Filter(SMF), Rank-order based Adaptive Mean Filter(RAMF), Noise Adaptive Fuzzy Switching Median Filter(NAFSMF), and Combining NAFSM Filter and AKM(NAFSM-AKM) techniques based on statistical methods for the removal of Salt and Pepper noise. The quality of the enhanced images is measured by the statistical quantity measures: Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), and Mean Square Error (MSE).
