摘要:AbstractEvery time a work-piece is created, it contains the most accurate information regarding the processes that contributed to its creation. Therefore, the most reliable source of information about the manufacturing floor can be obtained from the work-piece itself. The objective of this paper is to employ the Cyber-Physical System (CPS) required to extract information from the ”work-piece memory” to control the production process. The concept of maintaining an Integrated Inspection System (IIS) is a very important aspect in developing CPS in Industry 4.0. However, developing the required Cyber-Physical System is a very challenging task under development. In this paper, the ”work-piece memory” concept and its corresponding Cyber-Physical System in IIS is outlined in a high-level manner, and two different possible strategies are introduced. One of these strategies is further outlined through the use of a case study.
