摘要:Currently, on-site shale or one or two components of its clay minerals are used for isothermal adsorption experiments. However, there may be few or more clay minerals, and isothermal adsorption experiments of clay minerals mixed in different proportions have not been done. In this study, we used clay minerals with three components in different proportions to compare the isothermal adsorption of mixed clay minerals with that of one-component clay. We also established a semi-empirical prediction model for mixed-temperature adsorption of clay minerals based on the Langmuir model. The predicted composition was highly consistent with the experimental values based on the mineral composition of the mixed clay and the test temperature, saving much experimental work. In production practice, the proposed model may be instructive to determine the composition of mixed clay minerals and predict their isothermal adsorption.
