摘要:Education yet. Following in the footsteps of McMaster University Medical School in Canada, this was only the second medical school in the World to offer a radically new approach to medical education known as problem- based learning.’ This approach was based on small- group, student-centred learning, at the starting point of which was a realistic biomedical or clinical problem. Group meetings guided by a tutor displaced lectures as the main format of learning, leaving students ample time for self-directed learning using the learning resources provided by the University.
