  • 摘要:Equity in education is a measure of education achievement such that every individual student is given fair treatment and opportunity to be successful. Every student is entitled to equitable education but there are many challenges associated with the successful implementation of this ideal at the ground level such as racial discrimination, financial problems, gender inequality and gap in digital competence. In this paper, systematic review is used to analyze previous studies done on equity in education. The Prisma protocol and McDermott Model were used to filter the findings. The results of this study identified four major issues of equity in education, namely health equity: equipping educators to take action, building relationships for student success, promoting a safe and welcoming environment for immigrant students; and equitable access to higher education. Each of these issues has a crucial influence on equity in education.
