摘要：Energy enables technical innovations, and progress in health, agriculture and transportation. Socio-economic development and energy production are linked, although some energy-rich countries are poor. Developed countries are the biggest consumers. Energy consumption increases with increase in world population. Fossil energies are dominantly consumed. Nuclear energies are often decried because of serious accidents. Renewable energies, theoretically inexhaustible, often show limits and they are for the moment only energies of completion. Unequal sharing of income from energy can cause tension. Are nuclear and renewable energies the miracle solutions for the future?.
